Although the summer has been a bit of a slow-starter this year, there’s nothing I love more than ploughing through clothing websites to plan my holiday wardrobe. I’m not a big fan of real-life shopping as I’m too much of an old lady and can’t stand the noise and hustle and bustle of it all. However, shopping online means I can take my time curled up on the sofa in my quiet lounge, calmly drinking a cup of tea while I shop the summer sale bargains.
The fun of this has since been escalated with the invention of Polyvore. So, when I was contacted by My Voucher Codes and asked to promote some of the fantastic deals they have at the moment, I was beyond excited to get stuck in!
First up is Dorothy Perkins. I’ve long been a fan of Dorothy Perkins as I think they tend to be a bit more playful with their prints and take themselves a bit less seriously than other high street stores. Boden is another long-term favourite of mine. I have to admit that when I first discovered Boden, I thought it could be a bit old lady-ish. Although some of the prints and patterns aren’t quite to my taste, they have often been my secret weapon when trying to find the perfect on-trend piece that I could never track down on the high street. The Boden catalogue is one of my all-time favourite things to come through my letterbox. When I was little, trawling through catalogues and picking out all the pretty clothes I wanted was one of my favourite past-times, and now that I’m grown-up, not much has changed. Add that to the fact that the Boden catalogue is always shot in beautiful locations that make me want to pack my bags and catch a flight right away and you’ve pretty much got my perfect form of book. Last but not least, is Very.co.uk. I have to admit that I’ve never really been bothered with Very. I can’t really put my finger on why though. I think the website works well and the clothes are really lovely but it’s never top of my mind when it comes to looking for new stuff. However, they’ve got up to 70% off at the moment so it’s well worth a little browse.
